The corresponding satellite images showing the damage to the airbase during the night from January 5 to 6 were published by Brady Africk, an analyst at the American Enterprise Institute.
“Damage from recent Ukrainian strikes on a russian base in Crimea is visible in new satellite imagery. This site is more than 120 kilometers from the front line,” Africk reported.

As Defense Express reported earlier, Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk confirmed that the Ukrainian military targeted a russian command post at the Saky airfield.
A reminder that on January 4, powerful explosions were heard in Sevastopol and Yevpatoria. It is worth noting that on January 4th, near Yevpatoria, the 222nd air defense communication hub of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation and the positions of radar stations were targeted.
