The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Ministry of Strategic Industries, has signed several strategic agreements with Denmark to enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities. The agreements outline specific projects, funding mechanisms, and timelines for arms supplies. This update was shared by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Facebook.
Under the agreements, Danish and Swedish funds, along with interest from frozen russian assets, will finance defense supplies totaling approximately €535 million. This significant investment underscores the commitment of Ukraine’s international partners to support its defense in the ongoing conflict.

Deputy Minister of Defense, Dmytro Klimenkov, emphasized that such partnerships are vital in times of full-scale war. He highlighted Denmark’s proactive role, being the first to directly purchase weapons from Ukrainian defense companies. Dmytro Klymenkov described this cooperation model as a symbol of solidarity and a steadfast commitment to supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom and sovereignty.
