At the beginning of July, it became known that Denmark decided to finance the supply to the Defense Forces of Ukraine of 18 2S22 Bohdana 155-mm self-propelled howitzers at once - these systems were delivered to the Ukrainian army two months after the conclusion of the contract. This became a positive case and an impetus for the implementation of further similar agreements.
Thus, on Sunday, September 29, the Danish Defense Minister, Troels Lund Poulsen, with his Ukrinian colleague Rustem Umerov, as well as the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin, signed a protocol on the intention to continue such cooperation. Moreover, the notification of the Danish Ministry of Defense refers to "specific purchases from Ukrainian defense enterprises."

It is not known exactly which weapons Denmark will buy for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Ukrainian manufacturers, but it is known that the total amount of purchases is about 4.2 billion Danish kroner, which is approximately 630 million dollars.
A significant part of this amount, namely 2.9 billion Danish kroner (440 million dollars), will be financed from frozen russian assets, another 1.3 billion (about 190 million) was allocated with the support of the Danish parliament. Troels Lund Poulsen emphasized the country's leading role in purchasing weapons for the Defense Forces of Ukraine directly from Ukrainian manufacturers.
Such cooperation will positively affect the capabilities of Ukrainian gunsmiths, at the same time it opens the way for the rapid supply of weapons to the Ukrainian army, and also greatly facilitates the maintenance of weapons and military equipment.
In the context of such news, it is worth recalling that earlier this month, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that Ukrainian manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles will be able to participate in tenders for the "coalition of drones" for the first time. In particular, it is said that the UK has announced a tender for "large" FPV- drones and plans to purchase 300 units of this weapon for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
