​Canada Officially Proved Redeployment of Leopard 2 Battle Tanks for Ukraine to Poland

Eight Leopard 2 battle tanks promised by Canada to help Ukraine have arrived in neighbouring Poland

That is according to the Canadian defense minister, Anita Anand.

“All eight Leopard 2 battle tanks promised by Canada for Ukraine have now arrived in Poland,” Anita Anand tweeted on Friday, April 14.

Canadian defense minister also confirmed Canada's steadfast support for Ukraine in its just struggle against the Russian invaders. "We’ll continue to stand with Ukraine and to provide Ukrainians with the tools that they need to fight and win this war," Anand wrote.

As Defense Express reported, the first of four Leopard 2 tanks, which Canada decided to hand over to the Ukrainian military, arrived in Poland early February.

In the country they were used for training Ukrainian soldiers on how to use them.
