Operators of Ukraine's Nemesis 412th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces reported a significant degradation of russian air defense capabilities over the past week, striking a total of ten air defense assets across several frontline regions. The attacks targeted both missile launchers and radar systems, underscoring a systematic campaign against one of the enemy's most critical force-protection components.
Among the destroyed systems were two key radar assets: the P-18-2 Prima early-warning radar and a radar component of the S-350 Vityaz air defense system. These systems play an essential role in detection, tracking, and engagement coordination within russia's layered air defense network, making them high-value targets for Ukrainian strike planners.

Notably, the S-350 Vityaz radar marks the second such component of this modern system reportedly hit by the Nemesis operators in January alone. The S-350 system, designed as a successor to older Soviet-era systems, is valued at approximately $130 million per unit, highlighting the financial and operational impact of its repeated losses.
In addition to radar systems, Ukrainian drone operators struck multiple short- and medium-range surface-to-air missile systems. The confirmed hits include three Tor-M2 systems, three Buk variants, Buk-M3 and Buk-M1, one Tunguska gun-missile air defense system, and Strela-10 short-range SAM unit. Together, these systems form the backbone of tactical air defense for russian ground forces.
According to Ukrainian estimates, the total value of the destroyed air defense equipment exceeds $300 million. Beyond monetary losses, the elimination of these assets directly weakens russia's ability to protect troop concentrations, logistics hubs, and command posts from aerial attack.
The strikes were carried out in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, indicating a broad geographic scope of operations. Most of the successful engagements were conducted by pilots from the Asgard battalion, a unit that has increasingly featured in reports of precision drone strikes against high-value targets.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian forces have successfully struck rare russian Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare system on the Vovchansk axis, delivering a notable blow to the enemy's ability to conduct coordinated operations in this sector. The strike was carried out by operators of the Achilles 429th Unmanned Systems Brigade, who tracked the system and executed a series of coordinated attacks.
