In Poland in the period from September 3 to 6 this year the MSPO 2024 defense industry exhibition was held, at which a number of Ukrainian companies demonstrated their new and modernized weapons. In particular, the well-known Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles, the Athlon Avia company, a member of NAUDI (the National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries) presented its novelties.
As the company said on its official Facebook page, at the exhibition, visitors could familiarize themselves with such products of the company as the SR-1200 multicopter as well as the updated Furia A2-S unmanned aerial system.

The Athlon Avia notes that the UAS has received better capabilities - in particular, it is about increased flight time as well as the ability to carry more payload. The company has not yet disclosed other details.
We will remind you that the A1-SM Furia UAS was developed in 2014 and was used on the battlefield during the Anti-Terrorist Operation as well as the Operation of the United Forces in the east of Ukraine. This unmanned aerial system was adopted by the National Guard of Ukraine in 2015, and by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2020.
As previously noted in NAUDI, at this year's MSPO defense industry exhibition, the largest Ukrainian exposition of all years was deployed (it was presented on two stands).
In particular, at the MSPO 2024 exhibition in Poland, such private companies as Ukrainian Armor LLC, Kvertus, Altair Technologies, Ukrspecsystems, Airlogix, UKRTAC, Radionix, System Electronic Export, Archer, KTD Plus, KTD Jupiter, Athlon Avia, Aviation Systems of Ukraine, UA Defence, SpetsMashKomplekt, as well as the State Kyiv Design Bureau LUCH presented their products and services.
Earlier, Defense Express reported that the Ukrainian Armor LLC presented two of its new products at the MSPO exhibition - the Varta 2 armored personnel carrier as well as the UGV Protector ground robotic platform.
