Ukrainian forces have successfully hunted down russian artillery, destroying five concealed artillery positions in an operation carried out by the 44th Brigade.
The Ukrainian Ground Forces reported the operation, publishing video footage showing the brigade's work. The footage documents how Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance identified russian artillery positions before they were engaged.

According to the report, the brigade's aerial reconnaissance teams detected five camouflaged positions containing russian guns. After identifying the targets, Ukrainian forces carried out successful strikes against all five positions.
The operation resulted in the destruction of four russian Msta-B towed howitzers and one D-20 howitzer. The five artillery systems were located at concealed positions, which were detected by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance.
The destruction of the artillery was the result of coordination between reconnaissance and strike elements. After the positions were identified, the information was used to deliver strikes against the detected guns.
"When accuracy, coordination and experience work together – the result is explosive," the military said in its commentary accompanying the footage.
