Ukraine to Showcase Drones, Counter-Drone Systems at UMEX 2022 International Exhibition

Ukraine will present its newest unmanned technologies and counter-UAV systems on a joint booth at the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference (UMEX) 2022. The joint Ukrainian exposition organized by state-owned intermediary company "Ukrspecexport" will feature unmanned air and ground systems, innovative engines and technologies for UAVs as well as counter-UAV technologies, detection and identification complexes

Ukraine will represent the cutting-edge technologies of its own making. Products from a diversity of Ukrainian companies are to be presented, including:

  • reconnaissance and combat unmanned vehicles;
  • kamikaze drones;
  • counter-UAV jamming systems and equipment;
  • detection and identification complexes;
  • innovative engines and technologies for UAVs

UAVs, UGVs and other systems to be presented at the exhibition, were created by both public and private Ukrainian defense companies. Most of them confirmed their characteristics including the high resistance to electronic warfare systems during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Ukrainian technologies are not just for show. Some of them are already used by Ukrainian Army to counter Russian forces in temporarily occupied Donbas (Eastern Ukraine), while others prove their effectiveness abroad. The 5th edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference UMEX 2022 will take place from 21 to 23 February 2022 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), in United Arab Emirates.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE since 2015 the exhibition showcases the Middle East and North Africa region's industry-leading and growing unmanned systems segments.
