After the Kremlin announced another "gesture of goodwill" of retreating to the east bank of the Dnipro from Kherson, more and more photos and videos of destroyed and captured equipment in the hands of the Ukrainian military in Kherson oblast started to appear on the Internet.
Among these photo compilations, a rather rare example was spot, which is used on the battlefield by the Kadyrov troops, namely the Z-STS armored vehicle, also known as the Akhmat.

This armored vehicle was first spotted on the battlefield in early October this year, and its debut turned out to be extremely unsuccessful: the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed an armored vehicle in the village of Novopetrivtsi, in Kherson oblast.
As the russians themselves claimed, the Z-STS Akhmat armored vehicle was created specifically for Kadyrov's troops "taking into account the experience of conducting" the so-called "special operation".
Moreover, the occupiers actively boasted that it took them only 25 days to create such an armored car. For the first time this car was shown at russia’s military parade on May 9, and the presentation took place at the Army-2022 exhibition.
The Remdiesel plant was in charge of creation of the Z-STS Akhmat, the protection of this vehicle is identical to the Typhoon-VDV armored vehicle. Kadyrov mercenaries received the first 20 vehicles in late July 2022.
