The Svarog Battalion struck camouflaged artillery and key antenna system, disrupting enemy firepower and communications

Operators of Ukraine's Svarog 424th Battalion, part of the Unmanned Systems Forces, successfully identified and destroyed several high-value russian assets, including the Msta-B howitzer, antenna relay system, and military truck towing artillery. The strikes were enabled by effective aerial reconnaissance and counter-battery coordination.

The operation began with the detection of russian Msta-B 152 mm howitzer, which had been positioned under cover and camouflaged. Despite the enemy's efforts to conceal the artillery piece, specialists in counter-battery warfare provided a precise location to the drone unit. Two targeted drone strikes followed, resulting in the complete destruction of the howitzer.

In a separate strike, Ukrainian unit targeted russian antenna system responsible for radio-relay communications and Wi-Fi signal transmission. According to the report, the destruction of this system significantly disrupts the enemy's ability to maintain stable communication across medium and long distances.

Disrupting communications infrastructure has become a priority for Ukraine's drone forces. Targeting antenna systems weakens russian battlefield coordination and reduces the effectiveness of command-and-control systems, particularly in remote or contested areas.

The Svarog operators also detected a truck towing artillery equipment. The vehicle was promptly struck and disabled, further reducing the enemy's mobility and logistics capabilities. Disabling transport vehicles not only affects firepower but also delays redeployment and resupply efforts.

The operation demonstrates the growing effectiveness of Ukraine's drone forces in blending real-time reconnaissance with rapid offensive action. Coordinated aerial surveillance and precision strikes allow units like the Svarog to deliver outsized impact on the battlefield.

As Defense Express previously reported, operators of the Phoenix border guard unit have carried out a successful series of strikes targeting russian military equipment, according to an official report from the Unmanned Systems Forces. The operation reportedly resulted in the destruction of several high-value enemy assets, including tanks, the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, and two types of specialized equipment: rare radar station and robotic ground vehicle.
