Ukrainian M113 armored personnel carrier was used in a high-risk evacuation mission on the Kursk axis, where crew members from the Stalevyi Kordon Detachment transported wounded personnel under direct enemy fire. The operation involved both injured crew and multiple evacuees.

The vehicle was operated by a driver-mechanic and a gunner-operator. During the mission, an enemy drone struck the M113 APC with a guided munition. Despite sustaining injuries, the crew continued to the evacuation point.

At the site, they picked up three critically wounded soldiers and eight others from adjacent units who had been awaiting rotation. The mission took place in an active combat zone, with limited time and high exposure to enemy surveillance and fire.

While returning, the vehicle came under attack again, this time from the 120 mm mortar. A direct hit was recorded, but the M113 APC remained operational and delivered all personnel to the designated location without further casualties.

All evacuated soldiers have been taken into medical care and are currently undergoing rehabilitation. The vehicle itself has been withdrawn from service for repairs.

As Defense Express previously reported, on one of the key axes of Ukraine's frontline, drone operators from the Nemesis 412th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces are inflicting significant daily losses on russian forces. According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, this specialized unit is actively targeting and eliminating enemy armor, artillery, and logistics assets.

"The operators of the Nemesis 412th Regiment are degrading the enemy's ability to launch attacks on our positions – tanks, howitzers, and supply trucks delivering ammunition and personnel are consistently coming under fire," reads the statement.
