On one of the key axes of Ukraine's frontline, drone operators from the Nemesis 412th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces are inflicting significant daily losses on russian forces. According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, this specialized unit is actively targeting and eliminating enemy armor, artillery, and logistics assets.

"The operators of the Nemesis 412th Regiment are degrading the enemy's ability to launch attacks on our positions – tanks, howitzers, and supply trucks delivering ammunition and personnel are consistently coming under fire," reads the statement.

The regiment has become a vital tool in slowing or halting russian offensive efforts through continuous precision strikes.

The effectiveness of the Nemesis Regiment stems from a blend of accurate intelligence, strategic planning, and tightly coordinated operations using FPV drones. These unmanned aerial vehicles allow operators to conduct near-surgical strikes on high-value targets, often beyond the reach of conventional artillery or infantry.

Video footage illustrates this capability in action. The clips show FPV drones successfully striking russian tanks, artillery pieces, and supply vehicles, often with pinpoint accuracy. The footage underscores the technological edge Ukrainian forces are maintaining through adaptive drone warfare.

As Defense Express previously reported,in the early hours of July 16, 2025, a powerful explosion rocked the outskirts of the temporarily occupied city of Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia region. The blast targeted green UAZ-452, Soviet-era van commonly nicknamed the Bukhanka due to its boxy shape. The vehicle was destroyed in the incident, along with its occupants and payload.

Inside the van were two russian servicemen identified as members of a drone reconnaissance crew. These operators were responsible for piloting the Skat 350M UAV, a drone type frequently used by russian forces for aerial surveillance and artillery spotting in the region.
