The Novator 2S evacuation armored vehicle from Ukrainian Armor is already in serial production and is being supplied to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This happened even though the vehicle was unveiled only at the end of last year.
The armored vehicle is designed to deliver combat medics to the most difficult areas and safely evacuate the wounded. It is equipped with additional equipment for providing emergency care and stabilizing the wounded.

Such vehicles are very important on the modern battlefield, as conventional motor vehicles, which are often used for evacuation, are too vulnerable even to debris, let alone more serious threats. Meanwhile, a specialized armored vehicle is capable of providing adequate protection, based on the proven Novator infantry mobility vehicle.
The Novator 2S can transport six wounded people in a sitting position or four in a lying position. For this purpose, the vehicle is equipped with fold-down stretchers for transporting lying patients.
There is also space for installing medical equipment: a defibrillator, a ventilator, an oxygen system, vital signs monitors, etc. The manufacturer states that the set of equipment installed can be determined by the needs and tasks of the unit.
In other words, it is a vehicle that can adapt to its users and the situation. For instance, it is possible to have one armored vehicle configured with more complex equipment for special needs, and several others in a simpler variant for everyday use.
The Novator 2S debuted as it was delivered to units of the National Guard of Ukraine, whose requests inspired its creation. This illustrates the work of the Ukrainian defense industry in meeting important military needs. This is also evident in the vehicle’s standard electronic warfare equipment designed to protect against drones.
Overall, Ukrainian Armor has turned its Novator armored vehicles into a fully-fledged multi-purpose platform, enabling the creation of various specialized transport vehicles. This can help the military in terms of logistics, maintenance, and standardization.
