During the first two weeks of March, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence units continued a targeted campaign against russian air defense and support infrastructure in temporarily occupied Crimea. Operators from the Prymary unit carried out a series of precision strikes, focusing on degrading the enemy's ability to detect and counter Ukrainian unmanned systems.
According to footage, the strikes hit several high-value assets in a coordinated effort. Among the most notable targets was russian Valdai radar system, a relatively modern platform designed specifically to detect and counter small unmanned aerial vehicles. Its destruction signals a deliberate attempt to blind short-range air defense layers increasingly relied upon by russian forces.

Beyond radar suppression, the Prymary unit struck a range of enabling systems that form the backbone of russia's drone warfare architecture. These included an electronic warfare station used for jamming, as well as a relay node supporting the operation of Geran-type UAVs, russia's designation for Iranian-designed loitering munitions. Disrupting such relays can significantly reduce the operational range and coordination of drone strikes.
Another key target was a component of the GLONASS navigation system. While details remain limited, damage to such infrastructure could interfere with precision navigation for both aerial and ground-based systems, potentially degrading the accuracy of russian-guided munitions and reconnaissance assets operating in the area.
The cumulative effect of these strikes suggests a systematic approach aimed at dismantling the layered support network behind russian air defense and drone operations. Rather than focusing solely on launch platforms, Ukrainian forces appear to be targeting the "nervous system" of enemy capabilities – radars, electronic warfare, communications, and navigation.
In a separate but related success, the unit reportedly destroyed two Project 02510 BK-16 landing craft while they were underway, along with their crews. This indicates that the operational scope of the Prymary extends beyond static targets to include mobile maritime assets, further complicating russian force protection in coastal areas of temporarily occupied Crimea.
