Ukrainian intelligence operators have carried out a series of strikes against russian air defense infrastructure on the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. The operation was conducted by specialists of the Prymary special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
Footage released by the Ukrainian intelligence service shows multiple successful hits on russian radar and electronic warfare systems deployed on the peninsula. According to the report, the strikes targeted key components of russia's air surveillance and air defense network.

Among the systems hit was the 48Ya6-K1 Podlyot radar, a low-altitude surveillance radar used to detect aircraft and cruise missiles. Ukrainian operators also damaged the Sopka-2 radar system, another radar asset used for monitoring airspace and supporting air defense operations.
The strikes further targeted the P-18 Terek radar, a Soviet-designed early warning radar still widely used by russian forces, as well as the 39N6 Kasta-2E2 radar, which is designed to detect low-flying aerial targets including aircraft and drones.
In addition to radar systems, Ukrainian intelligence operators reportedly struck a ground relay station used for russian attack drones, including those associated with the Shahed loitering munition family. The relay station is believed to support drone operations used by russia for long-range attacks.
Other targets included an electronic warfare station and the RSP-6M2 landing radar system, which assists aircraft during landing operations. The destruction or damage of these systems could complicate russian air operations and reduce situational awareness in the region.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the strikes were intended to systematically degrade russian air defense capabilities on the peninsula. By targeting multiple radar nodes and support systems, Ukrainian forces aim to weaken the broader surveillance and coordination network protecting russian military infrastructure in Crimea.
