The Phoenix drone unit released footage allegedly showing the destruction of one of russia's latest MLRS systems and additional battlefield targets

Ukrainian drone operators from the Phoenix unit have reported a week-long series of strikes targeting russian military equipment, including a mobile multiple launch rocket system, armored vehicles, artillery positions, and logistics transport. The unit released a video via the 3rd Detachment, showcasing the results of their operations.

According to the report, one of the key targets was russian Kozerog-1 mobile MLRS, which was detected and destroyed on the Toretsk direction. Ukrainian operators described the system as a relatively new russian development, emphasizing its value as a priority target on the battlefield.

In addition to the MLRS, the strikes reportedly damaged or destroyed several pieces of armored vehicles and camouflaged artillery positions. The video suggests that drones were used for both reconnaissance and precision targeting, allowing operators to identify concealed equipment before engaging it.

The Phoenix unit also focused heavily on disrupting russian logistics. On the Huliaipole direction, drone operators systematically targeted moving transport vehicles, aiming to cut supply routes to frontline positions and reduce the enemy's ability to reinforce forward units.

As Defense Express previously reported, operators of Ukraine's 72nd Brigade claim they hit multiple russian artillery systems, including 2S19 Msta-S, 2S1 Gvozdika, and 2S4 Tyulpan units, during a cross-border drone operation.
