Drone operators from the 34th Brigade released footage showing strikes against russian assault troops and the 2S19 Msta self-propelled howitzer in Kherson region

The drone operators of Ukraine's Borysfen 34th Brigade have released new footage showcasing a series of successful strikes against russian personnel and equipment in Kherson region. The video, published on June 9, highlights the growing role of unmanned aerial systems in disrupting russian operations near the Dnipro River.

The footage captures multiple engagements involving russian assault troops attempting to move across exposed terrain. According to the brigade, several russian soldiers were detected and targeted by Ukrainian drones, with the strikes preventing them from reaching their intended positions.

Beyond targeting infantry, Ukrainian operators also struck russian 2S19 Msta self-propelled howitzer. The destruction or disabling of artillery systems remains a key priority for Ukrainian forces, as russian guns continue to be used in attacks against frontline positions and civilian areas in the south of Ukraine.

The latest video underscores how drones have become an essential component of battlefield surveillance and precision strike operations. By combining aerial reconnaissance with real-time targeting, Ukrainian units can rapidly engage both personnel and high-value military assets with minimal risk to their own forces.

According to the brigade, russian forces continue efforts to reinforce their positions around Oleshky and maintain artillery pressure on the city of Kherson. These attempts reportedly include the deployment of additional artillery pieces as well as small assault groups tasked with regaining lost ground.

However, the marines argue that such reinforcements face increasing challenges due to the persistent presence of Ukrainian drone operators. Continuous aerial monitoring allows Ukrainian forces to detect troop movements and equipment transfers before they can be effectively employed on the battlefield.
