On Saturday, November 2, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine released a report stating that in late October, that russian Aerospace Forces, using at least 28 units of the military transport aircraft, transferred more than 7,000 North Korean servicemen to areas near Ukraine. Earlier North Korean soldiers had been training in the Primorsky Krai.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine also published a list of weapons received by North Korean military personnel:

- 60-mm mortars;
- AK-12 assault rifles;
- RPK machine guns;
- SVCh sniper rifles;
- Phoenix ATGMs;
- RPG-7 anti-tank rocket launchers.
It is also noted that the North Korean soldiers, who will probably fight in the Kursk region, received night vision devices, thermal imaging cameras, collimator sights and binoculars.
It should be noted that the information that North Korea could send its troops to fight alongside the russian troops against Ukraine became known in early October of this year. According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the total number of troops is approximately 12,000, including 500 officers and three generals. Recently, wrote that together with the Assault Corps DPRK sent the Deputy Chief of the General Staff to the front.
Earlier, information was also made public about the training that North Korean troops undergo in russia before being sent to the front. It is becoming clear that the North Korean military is likely to fight not as a separate "expeditionary corps," but alongside russian forces and under the command of russian officers. This can also explain the rather limited list of weapons received by the DPRK military.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine also noted that the North Korean soldiers are being trained at five training grounds in eastern russia: Baranovsky, Donguz, Yekaterinoslavsky, 248th and 249th.
Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian warriors had eliminated 40 "elite" North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region.
