Ukrainian drone operators carried out a series of strikes against russian military targets on temporarily occupied territories during the night of March 12, 2026. The operation involved several units of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces and targeted air defense systems, logistics infrastructure, and military facilities belonging to russian forces.
According to the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, multiple enemy assets were successfully hit during the operation. Ukrainian drone units reportedly struck four facilities connected to russian Rubicon network on temporarily occupied territory in Zaporizhzhia region.

Pilots from the Kairos 9th Battalion of the 414th Brigade carried out several of the strikes using domestically produced FP-2 middle-strike drones equipped with 60-100 kg warheads. During the night operation, these drones hit a train transporting fuel on temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.
The same unit also targeted a launcher of the S-300V surface-to-air missile system near the settlement of Borovenky in Luhansk region. According to the report, the launcher was detected, tracked, and ultimately destroyed by the drone strike.
Additional targets reportedly included russian logistics hub, an ammunition depot, and several other military facilities used to support operations in the area. These strikes were part of a broader effort to disrupt russian supply chains and degrade the operational capabilities of russian forces.
In a separate engagement, drone pilots from the Raid 413th Regiment located and destroyed russian Tor surface-to-air missile system near the settlement of Berdyanske in Zaporizhzhia region.
Meanwhile, operators from the 1st Separate Center struck four facilities associated with russian Rubicon network across several settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. The targets reportedly included a temporary troop deployment site, warehouses, a repair base, and a drone workshop.
