Russians continue making demonstrative actions in the Severia direction to bind Ukrainian forces in northeastern Ukraine and prevent them from reinforcing the defending units in Eastern Operational Zone. The invaders continue shelling the Sumy and Chernihiv border regions of Ukraine.

The occupiers tried to create favorable conditions to resume advance in the Slovyansk direction, shelled the Ukrainian settlement along the entire contact line. Russian units tried scouting, stumbled upon the defenders’ resistance and retreated.

The invaders tried to break through Ukrainian defense in the Donetsk direction and reach the administrative boundaries of the Luhansk region. As Defense Express earlier reported, the establishment of control over the region is one of the primary goals of russian military operation.

Intense shelling was also recorded in the Lyman and Severodonetsk directions with mortars and barrel artillery. Systematic artillery fire was in the Sloboda direction as well. In this area, the occupiers are restoring railway infrastructure to accelerate the transfer of forces.

The occupiers did not carry out an active offensive in the southern direction. Instead, they equipped the second line of defense and accumulated air defense and artillery.

The situation remains tense in the Bessarabian direction, namely in the Transnistrian region of Moldova. Russian military personnel stationed in the region continue to be on high alert. The occupiers try to keep weapons and military equipment ready for use. The inspection of local armed groups was carried out.

The Black Sea Fleet of russian naval forces continues to isolate the combat operations areas preventing Ukrainian supplies, and block civilian shipping.
