The speaker mentioned that Ukraine needs ATACMS missiles, which are used in the operational-tactical complex and have a range of up to 300 kilometers. These missiles can be launched using the HIMARS system.
The spokesman of Ukraine's Air Force pointed out that these missiles leave no chance for the enemy, as they are capable to destroy their rear command posts, command centers, ammunition depots, and other targets. He also mentioned that Ukrainian forces already have long-range Storm Shadow missiles in their arsenal, which have shown good results.
"We have long-range missiles in the form of Storm Shadow cruise missiles, which have given us positive results. Disrupting the enemy's logistics routes is key to our success, in addition to having air superiority. Ukrainian pilots swiftly and effectively destroyed russian columns at the beginning of the large-scale invasion through aerial strikes. Today, aviation and long-range weaponry are crucial for Ukraine. The missiles we have in our arsenal with the longest range are the Tochka-U' missiles. Their range is 120 kilometers, and we are still using them. russia has the Iskander-M missiles as well as the aeroballistic Kinzhal," Ignat stated.
