It was stated by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its official account on Facebook. Ukraine’s Air Force Command state affirmed that russia’s Su-type fighter, two Mi-24 and one Ka-52 helicopters and Orlan-10 UAV were among the targets.
“On April 17, the air defense units of the Air Force and the Land Forces destroyed five air targets: 1 aircraft (Su-type fighter), 3 helicopters (two Mi-24 and one Ka-52), 1 UAV of operational and tactical level (Orlan-10),” states the report.

As noted, the Air Force fighters continue to patrol the airspace and shield the troops from the air, while strike aircraft launch missiles and bombs attacks on the positions of Russian troops.
