President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the results, describing the attacks as part of Ukraine's long-range campaign against facilities supporting russia's war effort.
According to the president, Ukrainian forces conducted overnight strikes on the Saratov oil refinery, as well as targets in russia's Rostov and Kirov regions and a military base on the Caspian Sea coast.

"Our Defense Forces of Ukraine are carrying out long-range missions in line with the approved priorities of the plan for such sanctions. A significant result. Thank you!" Zelenskyy said.
The president also summarized the results of Ukrainian long-range operations over the past week. According to him, Ukrainian forces successfully struck targets in russia's Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Voronezh, Volgograd, Rostov, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, and Krasnodar regions.
The targeted facilities were located between 300 and 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine's state border, highlighting the growing reach of Ukraine's deep-strike capabilities.
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, our intelligence agencies – thank you!" Zelenskyy added.
The latest operation follows a series of Ukrainian strikes against russian oil infrastructure. On the night of May 30, drones reportedly hit a tanker in Taganrog, Rostov region, while an oil depot in Armavir, Krasnodar region, also came under attack.
Zelenskyy later confirmed a successful strike against a russian oil storage facility located approximately 500 kilometers from Ukraine's border, emphasizing that Ukraine is justified in bringing the war back to the territory from which it originated.

The Saratov refinery struck during the latest operation is part of Rosneft and is known to supply fuel to the russian military. russian sources reported a large fire at the facility following the attack.
