Ukrainian forces carried out a series of coordinated strikes on April 14 and during the night of April 15, targeting a wide range of russian military assets across temporarily occupied territories and beyond. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the attacks, highlighting their focus on degrading air defense, logistics, and troop concentrations.
Among the most significant targets were key radar systems supporting russian air defense. Ukrainian forces struck the 96L6 radar associated with the S-400 surface-to-air missile system near Krasnohirske in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region. Another radar, the Nebo-SVU system, was hit near Hvardiiske in Crimea, further weakening russia's detection and tracking capabilities.

These strikes are particularly important as radar systems play a critical role in enabling long-range air defense. By targeting such components, Ukrainian forces aim to reduce the effectiveness of advanced systems like the S-400, potentially creating gaps in airspace coverage.
In addition to air defense assets, Ukrainian units targeted ammunition storage sites. A depot near the village of Terpinnia in Zaporizhzhia region was struck, which could limit the availability of artillery and other munitions for russian forces operating in the area.
Further strikes focused on drone-related infrastructure and fuel supplies. A UAV storage site was hit near Hirne in Donetsk region, while fuel tanks were targeted in the Mariupol area. Disrupting fuel storage directly affects mobility and the ability to sustain mechanized operations.
Logistics hubs were also among the targets. Warehouses containing military supplies were struck near Rybynske and Topolyne, indicating a broader effort to undermine russian sustainment networks along the southern axis.
Ukrainian forces additionally engaged concentrations of russian personnel across multiple regions, including Kursk region inside russia, as well as Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. Such strikes aim to reduce manpower and disrupt unit cohesion.
