The Counter-UAS Marketplace is the American analogue of the Brave1 Market for anti-drone solutions and components, and at least five countries have already shown interest in this marketplace

Dan Driscoll, speaking about his meeting with Polish Deputy Minister of National Defense Pawel Zalewski, said that the Poles have officially joined the Counter-UAS Marketplace.

"During our discussion, we emphasized how this critical marketplace strengthens the national security of both our nations," Driscoll noted. He emphasized the desire to jointly build a "more integrated and robust UAS and C-UAS ecosystem" with the allies of the United States.

On the part of Defense Express, we note that the American Counter-UAS Marketplace copies the Ukrainian Brave1 Market in its concept, but if the Ukrainian solution combines different categories on one platform – UAVs, UGVs, ELINT, electronic warfare (EW) equipment, etc., then in the USA, it seems, they decided to create separate platforms for different areas.

Thus, as of today, it is known about the existence of the Counter-UAS Marketplace for anti-drone solutions, as well as the UAS Marketplace directly for UAVs. The fact that the launch of the UAS Marketplace was officially announced at the end of March this year, and the Counter-UAS Marketplace began its work in February this year, indicates that these are different platforms.

It is not reported why the USA decided to differentiate purchases. Perhaps, separate platforms were created for the convenience of distinguishing purchases by category, especially since not only American, but also foreign companies will sell their solutions on these platforms. In addition to Poland, the C-UAS marketplace was previously joined by Great Britain, Romania, as wels as Australia and South Korea demonstrated intensions to join in.

The Counter-UAS Marketplace platform is an initiative of the Joint Interagency Task Force 401, and since the launch of the platform, there have already been successful procurement cases. Thus, in mid-April of this year, it was reported about the implementation of four purchases for a total of $ 13 million, and this a

lso concerns EW equipment as well as radar stations. In addition to the products themselves, there is also the opportunity to purchase components for them, according to the Ukrainian analogue of Brave1 Market.

Ukraine would be interested in joining the American C-UAS marketplace, especially since Ukrainian companies have many combat-proved solutions, including anti-aircraft drones.

The U.S. is not the only country that has copied the Ukrainian Brave1 Market – France is creating its own "trading platform" for UAVs and EW equipment, and Ukrainian companies are already represented on the marketplace from the Dutch startup.

As Defense Express reported, pilots can shoot down russian drones in Ukraine from New York or anywhere else in the World - Brave1 CEO told about interceptor drones.
