Ukrainian military drone crews from the Typhoon unit have demonstrated a series of precision strikes against russian forces on the Pokrovsk front, destroying a broad array of enemy assets over the past week. In footage released by ArmyInform on Friday, May 16, operators are seen guiding unmanned aerial systems to engage both small assault teams and large columns of armored vehicles with lethal accuracy.
According to the unit's statement, targets eliminated include tank convoys, artillery pieces, various armored vehicles, motorcycle assault teams, transport trucks carrying personnel, and dismounted infantry positions.

"Crews have become particularly effective in recent days. They skillfully evade enemy electronic warfare systems and focus on unprotected sections of equipment, inflicting ever-greater losses on the adversary," the Typhoon fighters reported.

As Defense Express previously reported, over the past day, Ukrainian border guards successfully shot down four enemy Shahed-131/136 drones during a wave of aerial attacks in Sumy region. These Iranian-designed loitering munitions have been widely used by russian forces in their ongoing assault on Ukraine's infrastructure.
In the last two days alone, the State Border Guard Service units have also neutralized one Molniya-type drone, two Krylo drones, and no fewer than sixteen FPV drones, three of which were operating via fiber-optic guidance, a tactic increasingly used by russia to evade electronic warfare systems.

As Defense Express also outlined earlier, on May 15, the Ukrainian Air Force's Su-27 fighter jet conducted a successful deep strike mission, targeting russian command post in temporarily occupied city of Lysychansk, Luhansk region. The strike was first reported by Soniashnyk, a channel operated by the Ukrainian Air Force personnel.
