Drone footage shared in the post captures the moment of impact: a massive explosion erupts amid the ruins of residential buildings, sending a towering plume of fire and smoke into the sky. The footage also shows that neither russian air defenses nor electronic warfare systems attempted to intercept the aircraft or the bomb.
The report highlighted this operation as a record-setting long-range drop for a bomb by the Su-27 crew, though the exact type of munition was not specified. The mission demonstrates the continued effectiveness and adaptability of Ukrainian tactical aviation, even when operating deep behind enemy lines.
"Our aces have proven that even at such a distance, there is no hiding from our burning wrath," the report concluded.
This strike is another example of Ukraine's growing ability to carry out precision attacks against high-value russian military infrastructure, despite technological disadvantages and contested airspace.
