“Fire damage was inflicted on the locations of the aviation component, air defense systems, ammunition storage depots, as well as reconnaissance and attack UAVs of the enemy. Available data indicate the destruction of multi-purpose and attack helicopters of Mi-8, Mi-26 and Mi-28 types, as well as the Pantsir-S1 self-propelled medium-range surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery system… During the night, a secondary detonation occurred at the enemy airfield,” the Ukrainian special service said in the statement.
The SSU has been announcing the destruction of russian aircraft at its bases for the second day in a row. On June 27, the special service reported that its employees together with the Special Operations Forces conducted an operation to destroy russian SU-34 aircraft at the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd region of the russian federation.

According to the service, two more aircraft were damaged. The SSU indicates that the russian army actively uses these fighters for bombing on the front line, including for dropping guided bombs.
In turn, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported on their official Facebook account that they “destroyed a unit of front-line Su-34 fighter-bombers at the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd region of the russian federation.”
"As part of reducing the russian aggressor's capabilities to deliver air and bomb strikes on the territory of Ukraine, on the night of June 27, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, struck at the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd region of the russian federation. According to preliminary information, four units of enemy aircraft were destroyed, namely Su-34 aircraft, as well as the airfield's technical support section, a facility used for maintenance and repair of combat aircraft," the Ukraine’ s SOF Command said in the statement.
As Defense Express reported, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence states russians began to transfer outdated T-62 tanks to frontline.
