Operators from Ukraine's 14th Separate UAV Regiment have carried out another strike on russian military assets located deep behind the front lines in Donetsk region. According to an official statement from the unit, the latest operation resulted in the destruction of rare REM-KL armored recovery vehicle and a self-propelled artillery system of unspecified type.

The REM-KL system is designed to provide repair and evacuation support for armored vehicles in the field. Its destruction may limit the ability of russian forces to recover and maintain damaged equipment in certain sectors. While not a frontline combat vehicle, the loss of such support assets can gradually impact logistical and technical operations.

The second target was a self-propelled artillery system, which the report says was hidden among civilian infrastructure. The use of urban cover for military equipment complicates detection and targeting, but in this case, the unit reports that the system was identified and struck by drone operators.

The operation was carried out by reconnaissance and strike drones operated by the Regiment, which is part of Ukraine's broader effort to target russian rear-area logistics and artillery support. This approach has been increasingly visible in recent months, with Ukrainian drone units focusing on disrupting supply chains and support capabilities.

No additional details were provided regarding the location of the strike or the types of drones used. However, the unit has previously been involved in long-range operations targeting equipment and infrastructure beyond the immediate combat zone.

As Defense Express previously reported, on the evening of June 26, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine drones struck a critical logistics facility in the russian city of Bryansk, targeting fuel depots and a missile propellant storage site. The strike was carried out by the Defense Intelligence and is part of a broader campaign to degrade the russian military's logistical infrastructure.

According to a source within Ukrainian intelligence who spoke to Ukrainska Pravda, the strike hit the 1061st Center for Material and Technical Support of the Armed Forces of russia. This facility reportedly stored both missile fuel materials, making it a valuable and vulnerable target.
