High-precision strikes near Ulyanivka and Novokyivka wiped out two russian air defense assets

Ukrainian special forces from the Lasar's Group conducted a series of night strikes against russian air defense assets on the Kherson axis, successfully destroying two surface-to-air missile systems in coordinated operations.

According to the unit, the night raids targeted russian air defense positions that were protecting key military infrastructure and troop movements in the region. The first strike occurred near Ulyanivka, where the operators detected and eliminated the Buk-M3 system, one of russia's newer medium-range air defense platforms.

In a separate operation near Novokyivka, the unit located and destroyed the Osa surface-to-air missile system. The Osa system had been used by russian forces to cover their equipment and logistics routes, serving as a short-range defensive layer against Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems and aviation.

Both systems were hit with high-precision munitions. Strike videos and on-site assessment confirmed the destruction of the Buk-M3 and Osa systems, leaving behind burned-out equipment and debris fields typical of successful air defense neutralization.

The simultaneous loss of two air defense systems in a single sector significantly reduces russia's ability to protect crossings, ammunition depots, and artillery positions on this part of the front. With fewer operational systems available, russian forces face growing difficulty in countering Ukrainian drones and guided munitions.

As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian drone operators from the Martlet Unmanned Systems Battalion have destroyed russian Uragan multiple launch rocket system. The strike marks another successful precision operation by Ukraine's rapidly evolving drone forces, which continue to target high-value russian assets on the southern front.
