putin confirmed that russia and Belarus have signed an agreement that includes security guarantees and the potential use of all available forces, including tactical nuclear weapons.
He stated, "Given that we have signed an agreement on security guarantees with the use of all available forces and means, I believe the deployment of systems like the Oreshnik in Belarus is possible."

This deployment is contingent upon the ramp-up of Oreshnik system production in russia and its eventual integration into the russian Strategic Forces. putin indicated that these conditions would likely make the deployment feasible in the latter half of 2025.
Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko echoed putin's sentiments.
"I would like to publicly request the deployment of new weapons systems, especially the Oreshnik, on Belarusian territory. This move would help calm certain concerns," the Belarusian leader said to putin.
