Ukrainian forces struck a number of russian military targets during the night of September 1, according to Ukraine's General Staff. The strikes targeted facilities and positions used by russian forces in several areas.
In temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea, Ukrainian forces hit locations used for the storage, preparation and launch of russian attack drones.

Another strike targeted russian command and observation post in Polohy, Zaporizhzhia region. Such positions are used by russian forces to observe the battlefield and coordinate their operations.
In Myrne in temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukrainian troops struck russian communications hub. Meanwhile, in Verkhnokamianka in Luhansk region, Ukrainian forces targeted an area where russian military equipment was concentrated.
The strikes also reached russia's Belgorod region. In Borysovka, Ukrainian forces hit a fuel and lubricants storage facility. The General Staff said the extent of the damage is still being assessed.
As Defense Express previously reported, the 44th Brigade used aerial reconnaissance to locate five concealed russian artillery positions before striking them successfully.
