Ukrainian aviation continues to dismantle key logistics routes of russian forces across multiple sectors of the front, with Zaporizhzhia becoming one of the latest areas to witness a precise and impactful strike. The Ukrainian Air Force is intensifying its efforts to disrupt the enemyєі transport infrastructure, targeting bridges, supply roads, and critical nodes used to move weapons and equipment.
According to Soniashnyk, Ukrainian MiG-29 crew carried out a precision strike on a road bridge in Zaporizhzhia region that russian troops had been actively using to transfer ammunition, equipment, and reinforcements. The strike was carried out with the GBU-62 guided bomb, a high-precision munition designed to create irreparable damage to hardened infrastructure.

The use of the GBU-62 bomb ensures that the targeted structure cannot be quickly repaired or restored, forcing the occupiers to seek alternative and often less convenient routes. This munition type is known for its ability to deliver pinpoint accuracy while inflicting severe structural damage upon impact.
The published strike footage clearly shows the moment the bomb separates from the aircraft and adjusts its trajectory toward the target. A second later, the bridge support explodes under the force of a direct hit, sending debris outward and effectively severing the structure's ability to support transport.
The bridge suffered critical damage, making it unusable for russian logistics in the area. This disruption significantly complicates the enemy's ability to move artillery, ammunition, fuel, and personnel, thereby introducing additional delays and operational setbacks for russian forces maintaining or reinforcing their positions.
Eliminating such logistical nodes is a key component of Ukraine's strategy to weaken the occupying force's combat efficiency. Bridges, depots, and transport links serve as vital arteries for the russian military; removing them forces the occupiers to stretch already strained supply chains and increases their vulnerability to further strikes.
As Defense Express previously reported, russian occupation forces have released a new video claiming a successful night strike by a heavy multirotor drone against Ukrainian positions in the Zaporizhzhia sector. The footage, published by russian media, allegedly shows one of their unmanned aerial vehicles dropping mortar munitions on positions of Ukrainian forces.
