PrAt “R&D and Production Company Practika”, a member of the Ukrainian League of Defense Industries and a supplier of armored vehicles to the Ukrainian forces, has been able to break into the export market.
This was reported by Oleh Vysotsky, Chairman of NVO Practika’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian League of Defense Industries during the International Defense Investment Forum held on August 12.

“So far this year Practika has executed two export contracts, including one from Saudi Arabia”, Mr Vysotsky said in the context of his company’s plans regarding a major defense industry exhibition upcoming soon in that country.
Saudi Arabia, being the third largest defense spender worldwide, is a highly attractive potential partner for arms manufacturers in Ukraine, whose manufacturing capacities far exceed the amounts affordable to domestic customers.
As reported earlier by international media, NVO Practika has sold several dozen Kozak-5 armored vehicles to Saudi Arabia, which is regarded a major achievement for Private Sector manufacturers of armored military vehicles in Ukraine.
Practika’s Kozak-5 -- the biggest contract won by a Ukrainian armored vehicle company since the 2018 completion by Ukraine of the Thai Oplot-T tank contract – is proof that Ukrainian produced armored vehicles are in demand on export markets, and especially so given the experience of their use in real world combat deployments.
