By deploying more air defenses to the capital, russians leave other regions less covered from drone attacks which is good news for Ukraine

The air defenses in Central russia are being bolstered, especially in the Moscow direction. Apparently, the effort is connected to the recent drone attack on Putin's residence in the Kremlin.

The video taken at the outskirts of Tula roughly 150 km south of Moscow shows redeployments of air defense systems, moreover, they even highlighted the location of the new air defense position – in Osinovaya Gora. S-400 missiles and Pantsir missile & AA artillery complexes were seen on the move.

There's also an exotic vehicle among them, based on the DT-30 arctic multi-purpose carrier. The quality of the video is too low to identify the payload but we should mention there is an arctic version of the Tor missile system mounted on DT-30.

The emergence of arctic vehicles near Tula indicates that russia gathers all available means of air defense, including transferring them from other regions of the russian federation. Especially from the Arctic where russians had a national-scale program for setting up defense lines.

Tula as a place for deployment is not a random one, it shows these systems will be assigned to protect Moscow precisely. That is despite the Central region being historically well protected and supplied with the newest developments of the national defense industry.

Meanwhile, if we put aside the drone incident in the Kremlin, the attacks involving explosive UAVs in recent days targeted not Moscow but other directions:

The attack on the Seshcha airfield in the Bryansk region (permanent deployment base of the 566th Military Transport Aviation Regiment equipped with An-124 Ruslan) should be viewed rather as a standalone attack in the series of strikes against the strategic targets in russia. However, the russians decided to enhance Moscow's air defenses instead.

These actions reflect the priorities set by the Kremlin in the face of the sequence of drone attacks on important facilities and the upcoming annual Victory Day parade in Moscow.
