Photos and the press release show that the exercises focused heavily on testing Strike Net tactical communications and evaluating fleet operations in the absence of satellite communications.

At the same time, a number of different technologies were used in the exercises, such as robot dogs, unmanned aerial vehicles, and surface boats.
The latter deserves closer attention, as the British military appears to be actively applying the experience of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with a naval drone, the Mantas T12 from MARTAC, fitted with a fiber-optic FPV drone.

The Ukrainian military was the first to deploy FPV-equipped marine drones and has successfully used them, mainly against russian air defense systems.
In addition, Ukrainian marine drones were recently spotted for the first time carrying fiber-optic FPV drones.
