Ukrainian troops from the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade have successfully detected and destroyed russian Kasta-2E2 radar using the domestically developed SHARK reconnaissance UAV and a loitering munition. The strike, conducted with precision, marks another effective operation aimed at disabling the enemy's radar and surveillance network.
According to the Brigade, the operation began when the SHARK drone identified russian radar system, which was then swiftly targeted and neutralized. The use of UAV reconnaissance and precision munitions underscores the growing sophistication of Ukraine's counter-radar capabilities on the battlefield.

The destruction of the Kasta-2E2 radar significantly weakens the enemy's ability to coordinate and detect Ukrainian reconnaissance and strike systems. With its sensors disabled, russian forces face reduced situational awareness and slower reaction times to emerging threats.
This disruption also means that Ukrainian operations can proceed with greater efficiency and lower risk to personnel. By blinding portions of the enemy's air surveillance network, Ukrainian troops gain tactical advantages that enhance both offensive and defensive missions.
