Eight countries have joined the UK in contributing over £1 billion to the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU), the UK Ministry of Defense reports.
This follows the Prime Minister’s announcement at the NATO Summit in July of the IFU’s largest support package yet – a £300 million contract to supply 152 mm artillery shells for Ukraine’s Soviet-era guns. He also pledged £3 billion in annual UK aid for Ukraine for as long as needed.

The Defense Secretary confirmed today that the £300 million contract has been signed, with thousands of shells expected to be delivered by year’s end, boosting Ukraine’s stockpiles and speeding up military support deliveries.
Denmark, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Norway also committed this summer to invest additional funds in the IFU for more frontline drones and crucial air defense capabilities to protect Ukraine’s people and infrastructure from ongoing russian attacks.
