Australia has ordered additional Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle for its army, the official website of the country's government reports. Thales Australia will traditionally manufacture these vehicles in the city of Bendigo and this will provide additional hundreds of jobs, the report said.
"This contact will continue Bendigo’s more than 20-year history of producing these iconic vehicles that have seen service around the world," the Australian government said.

They are talking about the production of 15 vehicles, the amount of the deal is 45 million Australian dollars (30 million US dollars), that is, one vehicle will cost 2 million US dollars.
It is noted that these vehicles would "facilitate command and control of Army’s High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) long-range fires regiment."
As it was reported, in August of last year, the US State Department agreed to sell Australia another batch of 22 M142 HIMARSs, the contract also provided for the possibility of supplying the newest PrSM long-range missiles.
We will remind that Bushmaster armored vehicles are also in service with the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military speaks positively about this vehicle.
According to data from the Oryx portal, Australia supplied Ukraine with at least 120 such vehicles. Approximately more than 1,000 armored vehicles of this type are in service with the Australian army.
