But in general, such an agreement can be classified as an unexpected one, since the company actively fulfilled NATO countries orders. In particular, THeMIS is already in service with Estonia, the Netherlands and Spain, and is also being supplied to Ukraine.
There is also information about a contract for the supply of this platform to France, Norway, Great Britain and the United States.
The company is also developing a more powerful unmanned ground vehicle, actually the Type-X RCV robo-tank. It’s a promising 12-ton machine capable of taking on the full-fledged role of a tank on the battlefield.
Only time will tell how much this takeover will affect the Western prospects of these and other developments. Although Defense Express notes that Milrem Robotics itself does not change its location. At the same time, certain opportunities are opening up for the countries of the Middle East regarding a whole constellation of high-tech weapons.
