The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not forgive russian occupiers for such mistakes

Ukraine’s fighters destroyed five russian Msta-S 152-mm self-propelled artillery guns at once in Nevske village during the offensive in Luhansk oblast. The video with the destroyed self-propelled guns was published on the YouTube channel of the editor-in-chief of the publication "Censor.NET" Yuriy Butusov.

Thus, as a result of the accurate fire, five Msta-S self-propelled guns were struck (four were completely destroyed, one more was damaged), along with two trucks with ammunition.

Yuriy Butusov noted that the M142 HIMARS missile system with high-precision GMLRS missiles was probably applied against enemy artillery systems.

Here, the following factors are worth attention. It’s a rare phenomenon to destroy 5 SPGs in one place. As an example Defense Express reminds about the destruction of an entire division of russia’s Msta-S self-propelled guns by the 93rd brigade fighters.

Secondly, the russian army hasn’t learned how to disperse its artillery – we can see in the video that the invaders tried to hide their self-propelled guns, but they placed them close to each other.

What is important, in this episode these were the modernized Msta-SM2 SPGs. According to Oryx, this is the first time that this type of self-propelled guns was destroyed on the battlefield. Previously the Armed Forces of Ukraine took these self-propelled guns only as trophies (overall, russians lost 17 units of such self-propelled guns, of which 4 were destroyed, one more was damaged, the rest were trophies).
