So there is a possibility that Ukraine has actually received these systems few months ago. The “unusual” SPAAG has already participated in several battles and even been damaged, but repaired in a short period, reads the report.
But shouldn’t be excluded that it can be the SPAAG that has been in a warehouse and removed after February, 2022.
The Ukrainian Naval Infantry Corps operators state that the Shilka gun can also destroy infantry, light armored vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles. It can demolish at least 10 russians on one operation.
According to The Military Balance 2022, Poland has had 2 basic ZSU-23-4 and 20 modernized ZSU-23-4MP Biala guns, which has 4 Grom surface-to-air missile launchers in the beginning of 2022. But the Polish Air Defense Force doesn’t have such systems.
