Ukrainian OSINT community Cyber Boroshno has utilized satellite imagery to confirm the results of Ukraine's long-range strike on the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield on the night of August 1–2. This location, situated 230 km behind the war frontline, is known as a launch site for Shahed-136/131 one-way attack drones to send them bombing Ukrainian cities.
Three buildings for storing Shahed UAVs were caught up in the destruction range. The OSINT specialists noted the high activity of trucks and relocations of drones, observed around these buildings.

Since Primorsko-Akhtarsk belongs to the airfields for tactical aviation, the strike also managed to critically hit the facility for storing and preparing air-dropped weapons. Combined with previously mentioned achievements, the strike was quite impactful overall.
Also, several fires were recorded across the airfield and some "unusual activity" near one of the UAV launch pads. These may be the results of the Ukrainian strike, too, but the experts note that it's only an assumption yet to be confirmed.

For reference, the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield is in the Krasnodar Krai region of russia, which is ordinarily covered by the S-400 — the most advanced air defense systems in the russian arsenal. The runway allows russians to launch Shahed drones straight from the rooftops of accelerated pickups.
There were also eight stationary launchers, which could send off up to 10 UAVs at a time, combined into up to 25 units per wave. Moreover, this is not the only location that has been identified as a Shahed takeoff site.
Earlier, the Dnipro Osint community also pinpointed other places inside russia: one in the village of Tsimbulova, Oryol region, and another in Navlya, Bryansk region. The actual number of such sites may be much higher, especially in Crimea, but they are more difficult to identify.
Although strikes such as the August 2 attack on Primorsko-Akhtarsk cannot single-handedly stop shellings of Ukraine by Shahed drones, they can reduce their intensity or even delay them.
