During the counteroffensive in Kharkiv region Ukrainian military captured russian Credo-M1 portable battlefield surveillance radar with detection distance of up to 32 km for the first time

According to ArmyInform, russia’s armed forces left on their positions Credo-M1 portable battlefield surveillance radar, which had been adopted by the russian army in 2002, while running away from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The main purpose of Credo-M1 surveillance radar is to determine the coordinates of ground, surface and air moving targets and target acquisition to permit the effective employment of artillery fire. The radar has a “prohibited zone” mode, it sends an alarm signal when the boarders of this zone are crossed (seems like they didn’t use this tool).
