Vector reconnaissance drones are a striking example of why testing military systems in the harsh conditions of real combat is so important

Quantum-Systems CEO (a company, known for its reconnaissance drones supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces) Dave Sharpin recounted one combat episode where a Vector drone withstood russian small arms fire.

This is reported by Defence Blog. It is noted that during the mission, the drone was hit 11 times and eventually the drone operator was forced to abort the mission after the enemy hit the gimbal.
