The Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin revealed that the construction of a plant to manufacture Bayraktar-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from the Turkish company Baykar has commenced.
“The construction work has already started. The factory is being built in reality, not just on memorandums,” Oleksandr Kamyshin claimed.

The Minister clarified that the plant will be constructed on the Ukrainian territory. He also mentioned that the facility will manufacture items that cannot be disclosed at this time.
It should be recalled that at the end of June, the CEO of the Turkish company Baykar, Haluk Bayraktar, revealed new details about the progress of the construction of an unmanned aerial vehicle production plant in Ukraine.
Previously, Oleksandr Kamyshin had disclosed the signing of a memorandum with the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology.
