Volunteer-driven development of the Trembita missiles from Vidsech community organization

The experts of PARS bureau shed light on one of their ongoing projects for France 24, a French television channel. The Trembita missiles are being developed with the active involvement of volunteers from the Vidsech сommunity organization.

According to Serhii, a volunteer from PARS, the Trembita missile can serve a dual purpose. On one hand, it can be utilized as a low-cost decoy to distract and neutralize russian air defense systems by drawing their anti-aircraft missiles away. On the other hand, it also proves to be an effective offensive weapon.

As previously mentioned by PARS, in order for the decoy to effectively lure the enemy, the missile possesses a sufficient Radar Cross-Section and a noticeable thermal signature, making it visible to russian air defense radars.

“The salvo launch of 20 or more missiles will enable the penetration of the enemy’s air defense systems and strike targets at a significant depth,” the developers claim.

According to Serhii, in the combat version, the missiles will be equipped with more sophisticated electronics to ensure precise targeting. In this configuration, the missile’s warhead weighs 20 kg, featuring either a thermobaric or a combined fragmentation-HEAT charge, while the overall missile weight reaches 100 kg.

The primary purpose of the missile is to effectively destroy enemy air defense systems, enemy troop concentrations and ammunition depots. It boasts a remarkable range of over 140 km and can achieve speeds exceeding 400 km/h. With a maximum flight altitude of 2000 m and a minimum of 30 m, the Trembita missile is designed to be a versatile and potent weapon.

The developers highlight one of the key advantages of this rocket – its pulsating air-breathing jet engine (PAJE). According to PARS experts, the decision to use this engine is based on its straightforward manufacturing process, high reliability and the absence of any moving components.
