A recent video that appeared online indicates that for the first time since the full-scale war, russian occupiers applied their K-4386 Typhoon-VDV armored vehicles, equipped with remote-controlled modules with 2A42 30-mm automatic cannons and a 7.62mm machine gun. The exact place of action is not specified. The russian Typhoon-VDV moved in a column, writes Defense Blog.

The russians claim that their K-4386 Typhoon-VDV has reliable anti-mine protection, and the armor of these vehicles is able to withstand the impact of 12.7 mm bullets.
The Typhoon-VDV armored vehicle was adopted by the russian Armed Forces only in August 2021, intended for equipping the airborne troops of russia’s army.
In The Military Balance guide as of 2021 such armored vehicles do not appear at all, this may mean that russians managed to produce a maximum of fifty Typhoon-VDV units. If russians decided to throw these rare armored vehicles into battle, then russia does have problems with the equipment of own army at the moment.
