Operators of R18 strike drones showed the next stage of a successful hunt for russian armored vehicles.
Another video from Ukrainian Ground Forces unit “Aerorozvidka” (it deals with tactical & surveillance unmanned aircraft systems) shows how the fighters skillfully find targets and destroy them with small free-falling bombs.

In this episode, the operators' prey was most likely T-72B3 tank and BMD-2 airborne infantry fighting vehicle, which were destroyed with the help of unguided cumulative munitions RKG-1600 - actually remanufactured hand-held anti-tank grenades.
It is worth noting that the effectiveness of the use of multicopters to destroy enemy armored vehicles has previously been questioned. But the combination of a multicopter, a bomb-dropping system and unguided RKG-1600 cumulative ammunition has worked well.
This system, having a minimum cost of all components, proves its effectiveness almost every day. It allows Ukrainian warriors to destroy the enemy, which is on a certain distance and not in line of sight. RKG-1600 cumulative ammunition is effective against stationary equipment, including armored vehicles, tanks. In the case of using such a system against manpower - their effectiveness is lower.
In any case, such a simple and minimalist system has already scored more than a dozen units of targets, including tanks and other armored vehicles.
Defense Express reported earlier that R18 strike drone hit enemy tank with RKG-1600 minibombs.
