The Korsar Battalion, working with allied units, destroyed the multiple launch rocket system in a precision UAV operation

Ukrainian forces have eliminated another piece of russian heavy weaponry on the battlefield, dealing a blow to the enemy's ability to shell frontline and rear positions. According to the communications unit of the 38th Separate Marine Brigade, the strike targeted the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system.

Ukrainian marines described the destruction as the "final minutes" of the deadly machine's existence, emphasizing that the strike was both effective and symbolic.

The BM-21 Grad system, capable of launching up to 40 rockets in a matter of seconds, has been one of russia's most notorious tools for saturating Ukrainian positions with indiscriminate fire.

The footage and after-action reports highlighted the precision of the drone strike, which allowed Ukrainian forces to destroy the system without risking personnel in direct engagement. This reflects Ukraine's growing reliance on unmanned systems to counter russia's long-range firepower.

Eliminating a single MLRS launcher can have an outsized tactical effect, as each system represents a significant threat to defensive positions and civilian areas alike. The destruction of this Grad system reduces the intensity of russian bombardments in the affected sector.

In their statement, the marines also sent a clear message to russian forces: Ukrainian "hunts" for enemy equipment will continue relentlessly.

As Defense Express previously reported, combat drone crews of the Artan special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine have carried out another precise strike against russian forces. The operation targeted enemy equipment, field depots, and logistical assets.
